Helmut Newton: POLAROIDS

My mom is in Berlin. For holidays. Because we both are interested in the photography we visited Museum für Fotografie/Helmut Newton Foundation.

The first floor is related to Helmut Newton´s Private Property. It shows the photographer’s personal life. We both think that is the best what you can see from the HN Foundation. What I found interesting were Helmut Newton´s cameras. I want them. And also I want Louboutin shoes from one of his shooting ;-). We liked the posters for exhibition. But what is not worth waiting for? Videos "how it´s made". Boring stuff. Don't wait for something interesting as us.

The temporary exhibition "POLAROIDS" is in the second floor. There are plenty of polaroids but you will go through it quickly. The small polaroid formats would suit pictures, no blowups. I would choose just few pictures which I liked it. Nevertheless I enjoyed the exhibition. It gave me a new perspective on HN´s work.
